Claude Connector

The Cordatus Claude Connector lets you manage your Cordatus account from Claude. You write what you need in plain language — "Which of my devices are offline?", "Start a Qwen3 model on my L40S server" — and Claude carries it out with your Cordatus account: it reads your devices, cameras, jobs and containers, and performs actions on them.

The connector is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at:

https://mcp.cordatus.ai/mcp

You sign in with your Cordatus e-mail and password once. Your password is sent only to Cordatus; it is never shared with Claude.

Connect with Claude Code

1. Add the connector

Run this in a terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http cordatus-prod https://mcp.cordatus.ai/mcp -s user
PartMeaning
--transport httpThe connector is reached over HTTP.
cordatus-prodThe name of the connector in Claude Code. You can choose another name.
https://mcp.cordatus.ai/mcpThe Cordatus connector address.
-s userAdds it for your user, so it works in every project. Use -s local to add it only for the current project.

2. Sign in

  1. Start Claude Code (claude).
  2. Type /mcp and select cordatus-prod.
  3. Choose Authenticate. Your browser opens the Cordatus sign-in page.
  4. Enter your Cordatus e-mail and password and click the sign-in button to allow access.
  5. The browser reports that authentication succeeded; return to Claude Code.

/mcp now shows cordatus-prod as connected. You do not need to sign in again: the session is renewed automatically.

3. Try it

Ask in plain language, for example:

  • List my devices and show which ones are online.
  • What is the GPU usage on my AGX Orin right now?
  • Which containers are running on my L40S server? Show the logs of the vLLM container.
  • Find a device that can run Qwen3-8B and launch it with vLLM.
  • Show the jobs that stopped today and their alarms.
  • Is Run:ai installed on my server? List its inference endpoints.

Connect with claude.ai or Claude Desktop

On Claude plans that support custom connectors, you can add the same address in the Claude app:

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Name it (for example Cordatus) and enter https://mcp.cordatus.ai/mcp as the URL.
  4. Click Connect and sign in with your Cordatus e-mail and password.
note

On Team and Enterprise plans, custom connectors may have to be added by an organization owner.

What Claude can do

The connector covers the same areas as the Cordatus AI Assistant:

AreaExamples
DevicesList devices, online state, metrics, system info, GPUs, storage, logs, rename, location.
Cameras & VMSList cameras, add / edit / delete IP cameras, view templates, recordings, schedules.
AI PlatformJobs, analytics, alarms, notification channels, start / stop jobs.
LLM LauncherBrowse models, find a device that can run a model, launch an LLM, containers (start, stop, logs), model downloads, Serving Layer.
ClustersSparkrun clusters and workloads, Run:ai install status, inference endpoints and public URLs.
MIGGPU MIG capability, split and merge.
OrganizationMembers, roles, groups, networks, licences (read only).
Payments are not included

Payment and subscription actions are not available through the connector. Licence plans can only be read.

Safety

  • You see every action first. Claude shows which tool it wants to call and with which values. In Claude Code you approve each call unless you allowed it in advance.
  • Every change is read back. After an action, the connector checks the result in Cordatus and reports whether it really happened.
  • Cordatus system containers are protected. The containers the Cordatus client runs on your devices (stream engine, inference engine, database and similar) cannot be started or stopped through the connector.
  • Your permissions apply. Claude acts as your Cordatus user, with your organization and your role's permissions.

Disconnect

To remove the connector from Claude Code:

claude mcp remove cordatus-prod -s user

In the Claude app, open Settings → Connectors, select the Cordatus connector and remove it.
